Most of the day on the trail last weekend, we were on trails where the trees weren't very tight, and there was a little breeze, and the temp stayed exactly in the middle. The Quarry Trailhead starts at the parking lot off of South Bay Blvd. It starts out uphill, but provides an instant panoramic view of Los Osos to Morro Bay. The trail continues straight back to the end of the property line at exactly 1 mile. The end of the trail looks out to a beautiful valley and Hwy 1.
