The D-21 had a reputation as being a very tough customer wherever one showed up. Here's an old video from the Allis-Chalmers marketing department that focuses on their involvement in the sport.

Allis-Chalmers H-3 and HD-3 crawlers (gasoline and diesel powered, respectively) were based on the Allis-Chalmers D-15 wheel-type farm tractor.
